Shawndra and Pat had a beautiful brunch themed fall wedding at Marker 137 along the Masonboro sound in Wilmington. Each of her bridesmaids wore a unique pastel dress, accompanied by gorgeous flower crowns made by Teresa of Bella Florals. Shawndra put so much time into making sure every detail was perfect, from the unique yard games to the floral harbor they said their vows under overlooking the water. After the wedding ceremony, guests were invited to play a variety of games from croquet, corn hole and more, and then enjoy a delicious brunch catered by Sweet and Savory. One of the highlights of the day was an old Volkswagen van they bought and turned into a photo booth for guests to hop into throughout the day. The skies threatened rain all day, but created beautiful dramatic skies for guests to enjoy. Shawndra and Pat exited their wedding through a fun bubble exit among family and friends. This was our first time photographing a wedding at Marker 137, but we certainly hope it will not be our last! With beautiful views of the water on a gorgeous property, Marker 137 is perfect for constructing a beautiful large tent or having an open air reception. If you dream of being married overlooking the water, but a beach wedding is not for you, Marker 137 is the wedding venue for you.
